We also lost a great deal of aircraft. Many aircraft went into combat and others were not as lucky.I am sure that if the U.S. Navy had not fought in this war then we would not have won. One thing is for sure and that is that we lost more than Japan and the Japanese. If we had not made any compromises or had been less successful than the Japanese, we would have won.So, we're all responsible for our own actions. You may think you are not to blame for what happened but, the reality is that you are. You made the choices that you did and you can't change that now. However, you can change your own perspective.A lot of veterans would like to tell you that what you experienced in World War II, is a direct result of you and your family. The truth is that what hap pened in Japan was not your fault. You made mistakes and you can learn from them. No matter how hard life may be, you can make a difference.
